Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 level AA. If you run into a barrier, tell us and we will fix it.

Conformance status

The website of Pyroprolipsi Techniki & Emporiki I.K.E. is designed to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. It is partially conformant: most content meets the requirements, with the exceptions listed below.

Measures we have taken

  • Semantic HTML, with one main heading per page, ordered headings and landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer).
  • Full keyboard navigation, a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
  • Colour contrast checked for text and controls.
  • Your system's reduced motion setting is respected: motion effects are switched off.
  • Alternative text on images that carry information.
  • A contact form with visible labels, marked required fields and clear error messages.
  • Text that can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.

Known limitations

  • Some older PDF documents, such as certificates, may be scanned images that screen readers cannot read. If you need one in an accessible format, ask us.
  • Third-party content, such as the embedded Google Maps map, is not under our control and may not be fully accessible. Our address (20 Parodos Leof. Kryoneriou, 145 65 Agios Stefanos, Attica) is always shown as text too.

European Accessibility Act

The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) applies from 28 June 2025 and sets common accessibility requirements for products and services. We follow its requirements as the standard for our website, with the WCAG guidelines as the technical basis.
